Meet the Guides
Paul Klees is the Assistant Operations Manager and has been with the ranch since 2007. His oversight ranges from managing capital projects in the spring and helping with the day to day operations in the summer. In the Fall, he oversees the hunting program. Paul grew up in Wabasha, Minnesota.
Cody Arnold grew up hunting and fishing in Grand County, This will be his 13th season guiding hunts on C Lazy U property. He is the lead guide and you will see him drawing up the game plan each morning for all the guides. If there are animals around Cody will find them!
Zac Broady is a native to Granby, Colorado and has been a big game guide for over 7 years and has been hunting on C Lazy U since he was 4 years old. He enjoys hunting elk, Colorado mule deer, antelope, and hopes to soon draw a mountain goat tag. When Zac isn’t guiding for C Lazy U Ranch, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with his wife Julie and young daughter Hayden.
Blaine Miller Jr. is originally from Wampum, Pa, located approximately 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. He first came to C Lazy U as a guest in 2000. In 2002 he came back as a guide and have returned annually since then.
Steve is a Colorado native who went to school on the front range and spent his summers on the western slope. Steve attended college at Western State in Gunnison, and has worked as a teacher, administrator and coach by trade; hunting guide in his spare time for 14 years. Steve loves big mule deer the most along with field judging and scoring any animal. He genuinely enjoys working with clients to give them the best experience he can.
Jeremy Weisinger grew up hunting and fishing in Uvalde, TX. He began guiding South Texas big game hunts in High School. Jeremy moved to Boulder, CO in 1995 to attend the University of Colorado, where he fell in love with hunting and fishing in the Rocky Mountains. Jeremy really enjoys taking clients Elk and Mule Deer hunting. When not guiding hunts for C Lazy U Outfitters, you can find Jeremy guiding flyfishing trips, or in the backcountry with his wife Jessie.
Taylor Swift has been with the ranch for 2 years now, and this will be his second season guiding for C Lazy U. Taylor grew up chasing whitetail and turkey through the hills of middle Tennessee, and then in North Mississippi while attending Ole Miss. Taylor began pursuing western big game after graduating from the Colorado Outdoor adventure guide school where he completed both basic guide and pro guide programs. When he is not chasing elk and mule deer you can find him on the river with fly rod in hand.
David Christman is a Colorado native and has been big-game hunting for the past 26 years. David has been an Orvis fishing guide at C Lazy U for the past 3 years and is now migrating over to the outfitting side of guiding. David’s hunting experience ranges from water fowl to small and big game and he has hunted both the plains of the West as well as the Rocky Mountains. In his spare time, David enjoys tying flies, ice fishing, whitewater rafting and snowmobiling.
